help with magnet links

okay. i'm new to the forums. so first of all, hello.

now, i'm having a problem with my limewire (obviously). i can't seem to download things through magnet links. when i click the link (such as for downloading limewire skins), nothing really happens. i am directed to an internet page that can not be displayed and absolutely nothing happens to my limewire.

i'm using:
limewire pro 4.12.4
internet explorer 7
windows xp

can anyone help me? =)

Hi exquisite.love.
If the default skin is giving you Sun blindness, try Click on View/Apply skins &
choose Black Theme. its very kind to the eyes. & I think its groovy.
If it don't fit you, It takes 1sec to change back.

It's probably a setting in your browser. IE can be a pita and I only use it when I have to. Consider trying a different one. I use Firefox. It's a very good browser and is without some of the security vunerabilities of IE.

Then as a test try d/loading through the magnet links at this site: http://www.magnetmix.com/audio2.shtml
