Help with my Library! (songs turned to zip files)

So i check the folder where all my downloads go to from limewire and for some reason they all all winzip files. When i open that song file with winzip it has a file called setup.exe i cant extract that either. Is my only option to re download all of these songs cause that would be a huge pain. :bangh:
Please help!

Oh dear not good....You have a virus.. The only AV that I know of to get rid of this virus is AVG, it is free...So if you aren't running that AV the best thing to do is disable the one you have and download AVG, scan your computer, get rid of the virus and then you can unistall AVG and make your normal AV active again...

AVG download.....AVG Free Advisor: AVG Anti-Virus Free

Also unfortunatley this virus is set up to destroy your downloads and once the virus has gone there are no trace's left of your files...:(

small update.
I ran AVG in safe mode and it deleted a virus. I rebooted, and found that my ctrl alt del works (hadn't before) but my library still is in zip files. Did I not get all of the virus?

Hmmmm, It doesn't sound like it...run it again and see what happens...Try running it normally and not in Safe Mode...

Ok.
I tried AVG again and it found 790 threats (yikes!) and said that it "healed" all of the song files located in my limewire folder. I checked in that folder and i was empty. So i did a search for one of the songs and it didn't find it. Soooooo i checked the "virus vault" in AVG and tried to restore it but it was still corrupted. Any tips?

Let the files go, as far as I know that's what the virus is all about, it destroys your files..It has been obviously planted on the network to try and take p2p down...
Just be really careful with what you download from now on...Scan every file before playing...
To do this open up your shared folder > right Click > select scan with AV, at least you will know that they are clean...
