Yo, I'm new here, need advice!

hello everyone,
i live in australia sydney and i need some limewire advice. i basically joined just because of that anway. i've had limewire for a long time now and all of a sudden limewire automatically opens when i start windows. i go settings and set the option to 'off' and save the changes. i start again and it opens up. i close it and it opens up again. any advice or tips?

go here Http://ccleaner.com when u run this program go to tools and then startup programs delete limewire.exe from the startup list

Hey Tejas,

If your LW's popping up all the time & refusing to stay closed (not just opening the once, when you start up), you probably have a worm. Has task manager stopped working? If that sounds like the prob, try the easy fix mentioned at the end of point 2 in this thread.

Do it Birdy's way first, Then Get the AVG Free version, The blue link that Goku gave you, Its much better than most
of the AntiVirus Programs, especially using P2P
It has a fix for your problem already.
