Necessary permissions? I've been using LimeWire for a few months now and everything was working fine until today. I can connect and download but I can't listen to anything, new or old. I keep getting this error that says: "LimeWire was unable to write a necessary file because you do not have the necessary permissions. Your preferences may not be maintained the next time you start LimeWire, or LimeWire may behave in unexpected ways". Then I get this error when I try to play the songs in Windows Media Player " Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with you sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly." I'm the only user on this computer and I'm the administrator. Any suggestions? Sounds Like a bug. And if your haveing problems with your sound card try to a system restore Click your start menu . Go To Programs. Than Accessories. Than System Tool's And Click on System restore. And Try to scan for any Virus on your PC. Here is AVG From Download.com Work Good.
