Problem with Files Zipping
 

After downloading any type of file and closing limeware somehow the file zips itself and can't be opened. So, basically anything I download on limeware and leave in the download folder is unusable.

I have used limeware for years! I just started having this problem. I have tried just about everything I can think of to solve the problem. I have thousands of files I have lost because of this. I uninstalled the version i had and installed a new copy from limewire.com it's still doing the same thing!

No matter what I download, once I close limeware it zips the file then it can't be opened. I get an error saying "file is corrupt from transfer". I had over 1400 files that had to be deleted!

If anyone knows how to fix this problem plz let me know.

You have a virus. Download and scan your computer with AVG antivirus (it's free). I'm not sure if anyone has come up with a solution to salvage lost files.
