Media Player (default player)

Hi.My Windows Media Player is out of order so I use Creative Media Player for mp3.And when I wanted to listen to a finished song I right-clicked the song and clicked 'explore' and it opened in Windows M. Player. But now that I use Creative M .Player when I do that it does't work.I made Creative m. Player as the main player for mp3.What should I do?

wondering why May 24th, 2007 04:48 PM

Go to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select creative
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK

Thank you.I know that and I took care of the file association problem. But LimeWire uses his media player to open completed files.I always have to go to library and and click the song to open in windows m. player. How can I change it?

Sgt.Pepper, simply do as WW suggested but instead of choosing WMP to open the file, choose iTunes instead. ie: choose an mp3, right-click & choose open with iTunes & tick the option that says always use. You should also do this with m4a files.

jazzbass86, go to LW's menu bar, Tools>Options>Player & disable the media player & press apply button. (click on attachment thumbnail below)
