![]() Hi, I'm new to Limewire but slowly figuring it out. Is there any way that someone can upload a file to my PC using Limewire without my requesting it? A friend insists that it is possible especially if I allow freeloaders. |

![]() He insists there is a setting in LW that permits anyone uploading any file to my pc without my knowledge or consent. How does getting a virus cause me to end up with files I didn't download? Why would they want to upload files to my pc? |

![]() Says it has to do with allowing freeloaders to download, which I currently allow. By permitting this, anyone can send me whatever file(s) they want, that's his story. I've looked but find nothing close to this. I'm beginning to suspect he's full of it but just want to do my due diligence first. |
