Just got pro. wont work.(can't click on anything)
 

I just got limewire pro and when i downloaded it, installed it everything seemed ok, but now when i open it, it wont let me click on anything in program. if i try to click on audio at the search feature, it wont select it. i can search, but when my results come up i cant click on them to download. its almost as if the program has a lock on it or something? anyone help?

What version of Java are you using?

Not to sure, but i did run a virus scan and some other **** and removed some old stuff and did a restart and it works. not to sure what i did to fix it but it works now so....

Sounds like things have become jumbled.

Follow these instructions exactly.
So, you need to Go, Start/All Programs/LimeWire n Uninstall all L/W versions.
Do Not Uninstall From Change or Remove Programs.
Re BOOT Your computer NOW.

Now Go to, Start/Search/click on all files n folders/more advanced options/
& make sure, case sensitive, is not ticked. (all other boxes should be ticked)
Now!!, Put limewire in box, (all or part of file name) & click search.
Delete everything found, including Prefetch folder, (I mean everything)
Re BOOT Your computer NOW.

Now! Go to,
START/Set Program Access/Change or Remove Programs,
now completely remove all versions of java.
Re BOOT Your computer NOW.

Now! Use this Link to get (jre-1.5.11) Use the off line installer, NOT the (recommended) one,
Java SE Downloads - Previous Release - JDK 5
When Download is completed.
Disconnect from internet, close ALL apps n reinstall java.

Now!! Use this link to download latest L/W version using the off line installer
