Windows media player (no sound)

OK so i downloaded something and then i had to get a codec so that it would work but now the sound DOES NOT WORK!!! and i have no clue whats wrong! please help! thank you!

Please remove your reference to copyrighted material. It is against the forum rules.

Try downloading VLC player. It's free and will play almost anything.

Also set VLC to your default player so it will open that file type everytime.
