Im new here good day to everybody i got a problem using lime wire just downloaded version 4.12.11 installed it and set up the fire wall to alow lime wire to start ok imusing windows 98 xp when i click on the lime wire icon nothing happens i tried installing and re-installing can someone help

broadband conection ive used this program on the same computer before

What version of Java do you have? (You can go to control panel...add/remove programs...look in the J's for the item with the coffee cup)

Have you tried going into the Limewire folder in program files and clicking on the 'Limewire executable jar file'?

when i go to the coffe cup java it just says java tm controll pannel when i double click on nothinh happens

Did you go to ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS within the control panel?

What about the second suggestion I made? Did you try that?

still no joy i think the java is corupt were can i get the latest java script
