hope someone knows (not seeing all available results) i wasnt sure where i would post this, but i have a problem with my results window. when i search for something, the new result window opens and on its tab, it has the term i would have searched, followed by a fraction. this never really happened before, and it seems that when i search for things now, that the results are considerably less that if i were to have previously searched for the same thing. for example, i just searched for audio files with the term being "hey there delilah" and my result window opened with the term and fraction appearing as "hey there delilah (11/798)". if anyone has any input as to what this is and how to bring back the page full of results that i used to get, please feel free to chime in! |
In the menus to the left of the search results, make sure that you have 'All' selected. Do you have your junk filter set to 'do not display junk'? If that's the case & your junk filter has recognised some files as junk, they won't be displayed & you'll see those numbers in parentheses. You could try relaxing the junk filter settings. Junk Filter Has this only started happening since you installed a particular LW version? If you have some old installers saved, try going back to an earlier LW version & see if things change. You could also try deleting LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location). Fixes for LimeWire This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things. If you're not sure of your settings, go through LW's tools > options & write them all down, so that you can reset things later. :) |
