Java problem fixed it nm |
Thanks for sharing that with us ?????????????????? |
oh well ok then. im not really sure how i fixed it but umm ok... if you go to java.com go to search just type in DST and youll get an article on how the recent daylight savings time change can effect java JRE run enviornment. after reading about it i browsed around sun mycrosystems and found a download to correct DST problem in it or something, i downloaded it but didnt know how to open it so i gave up. in the article it states that it can affect mountain time. well thats where i am. and i recall one of the error messages i got was something like failed setting date/time stamp. that made me think of the DST problems. so what i did was just click on my clock in the bottom right changed my timezone restarted my computer changed it back and downloaded java err dowwnloaded java then fixed time. and well... it worked. thats the only thing i could have done to make it work i didnt really do anything else. dont get me wrong i could easily be wrong but well.. there it is. heres the main article on the DST changes and the effect on java U.S. Daylight Saving Time Changes in 2007 |
