New Comp Old Speakers low volume Problem
 

Hi! I just bought a new computer well new tower actually. Anyway i just bought a new tower only the tower cause i already had a monitor. anyway i am using my really old last computers speakers and the volume is so low. i have it turned up as high as it goes but the volume is really low! my speakers dont have their own volume knob but they work fine. if it helps my old speakers are xp emachines and my new computer is a hp vista. Can someone help? :blink::blink::blink:

please can someone help me? my volume so low i have to get extra sensetive hearing just to hear it :whistling:

Hmmm, sounds to me like a sound card issue, have you tried going into your sound effect icon it should be in your system tray and configuring the sound manager and the volume control...

umm if by that you mean the control panel and screwing with that then yes otherwise no..

Do you have this in your task bar...The little blue sound speaker ??

no ive got a red looking speaker thing and a white one the red one says realtek hd audio manager and the other is volume

Yep that's them go into them and see if you can tweak a few things...

i have its all working correctly volume is 100% but it still crazy quiet

:cry:I really don't know what it could be, except that maybe there's a compatability issue with Vista and the speakers...Is it possible to ring the place you purchased the tower from and ask them for some advice ??
