Transferring between computers...

I have a laptop and a PC and they are on a shared network. I want to take what I've downloaded on the laptop to the main PC but when I try to move the files it pops up with a message:

Cannot copy "x": Access is denied.

Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected
and that the file is not currently in use.

How would I fix that? I know it isn't just the PC because it doesn't work on other computers either, and I have access between the computers because some of the files will transfer.

Make sure there's no programs running whilst you transfer files. Especially make sure LW is turned off.

I have. I've even ended all processes under my account through the Task Manager. :bangh:

I am not sure about networking PC's .. I use networked macs. lol :D
How about burning the files to a CD/DVD RW if your laptop has one.

Oh I fixed it! I just moved all of the files out of the default shared file to another. xD
