29,429 files?!?!

Today I'm trying to clean out my computer, so when I go to my shared folder to see how much space it's consuming, it says that there are 29,429 files in the folder. I selected them to check again, and it said 460. Limewire confirmed my fears, because I checked how many files I was sharing and it said 29,429. They're clearly not there. The folder is taking up alarge chunk of my computer's space! How do I get rid of these imaginary files:blink:?

Delete the folder.

That's the thing, actually. I can't because it has all my music for iTunes in it...

move the files you want to save out of that folder to a new one...it will help if you right click on the field of the folder (while in it of course) and choose to 'arrange icons by file type'...

then delete the folder and see what happens...then do a virus scan because you most likely have one and the extra files you see are most likely .zip files...

and..use the forum search command to see some posts with accurate advice on what virus you have...

which one?

the older British version or the new SciFi channel version?

I used to watch the old one when I was younger, and have watched most of the SciFi's eps...a little bit on the low budget side, but still quite enjoyable to a person like me...

Hi Peerless

This is the episode I just watched (started at 7.05pm BST)

Doctor Who

Sat 30 Jun, 7:05 pm - 7:55 pm 50mins
13/13. Last of the Time Lords: Earth has been conquered and the Master rules supreme, with the Doctor his prisoner. Can Martha Jones save the world? [AD,S]

Subtitles Stereo Widescreen

Website: BBC - Doctor Who - The Official Site

If you check out my screen print below you will see the poster that preceded the final episode of the latest series.

From Left to Right we have Martha Jones, the Doctor's new travelling companion, next we have the Doctor, aged to approx 200 years old by the Master and finally we have the Master, who has just assassinated the US president and taken over the world.

I guess that, as you live in the US, you will not see this episode until next year or when it come out on DVD.
