problem (LW won't stay open)

hi i have this problem..
i have installed limewire and when i start it i get the loading screen
then when that is done loading limewire starts up but only for about a fraction of a second because then it dissapears and i have a limewire logo in the right botom of my screen...
but when i go there whit my mouse that diappears to and i already evin reinstalled whole windows and limewire and i have the latest java version so i am not getting it anymore

can some one plz help me??

1. Try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)

If that doesn't fix it, then see below:
2. Use your add/remove control panel to remove all versions of Java. Then install Java 1.5; Java 1.5 (take the JRE)

If still doesn't work, then look at first link about fixes, & try changing LW's compatibility mode.
