getting audio only
 

Help! Whenever I try to playback a video, I get the audio but no picture. Windows ME. Any ideas

The files are mpeg files. They are in my library. Some files were downloaded previously and used to work. When I try to launch those files or any new ones I download, the Media Bar comes up and when I play them I get only the audio portion. ASF files still work OK.
I have used up my meager amount of expertise (that didn't take long) and gotten nowhere.
