Security/Safety, infected downloads, viruses etc
 

OpSys = XP, Limewire v4.12.10 but suspect it's a general problem, Connection=DSL, no error msg.

(I hope this is the right place - my first post - I didn't see any threads specific to security/viruses/infected downloads etc.)

I've noticed that whatever you search for, you seem to get a bunch of suspicious looking potential downloads which I suspect are viruses or at least something bad!

a) Can you confirm if this is the case ?
b) Can Limewire stop that happening or block infected files etc. ?
c) any other advice for me ?

Example: search for "zzzzzzz" and you get ...
zzzzzzz Share Accelerator zip 3,486 KB
Play Sudoku Now exe 143.5KB
Fun Workplace Time Waster exe 143.5KB
Hot Babes Screensaver exe 143.5KB
Play Poker For Free exe 143.5KB
Cute Puppies Screensaver exe 143.5KB
Free Games exe 143.5KB
etc.
