mov files

I have installed quicktime several times and still cant get it to work. I cant play mov files. Any suggestions?

Try mpg/mpeg and avi. Mov files are mostly spam/porn. Also try another media player like VLC media player. It has the codecs built in and is very reliable. I keep it on hand just for files that won't play right in WMP. It's a good back up for other players.
