Okay now I have J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11 and 12, and I also have Java 2 Runtime Environment SE v1.4.2_15 and Java 6 Update 2, and then I tried everything on Birdy's post and the closest thing I got to getting in to LW was Note number 3 which was to delete LW preferences and when I did that Limewires setup came up and so I did that and then after that Limewire does the same thing that as it did before.

You sneaky thing rdshokies posting in 2 threads..
You need to uninstall all of the other Java's you have and just run with the 5.11....This is why LW is having trouble starting up...

trying to get LW to start is a problem. I double click on the icon and it will not open. What has happened to it and can i get some help on how to fix the problem
