Total Noob (how to direct connect & upload files)
 

Ok, I'm a total newbie at this, I've just read about limewire and decided to try it. Can I look up a specific person (like can a friend and I just find each other easily)? Do I just look up anything? I'm kinda confused on how all this works.... Any help would be great! Thanks

edit: oh and how do you upload? I don't know if I did it right and I can't seem to find my files when I search.... any help there too?

If you want to connect to one person, you can use the Direct Connect feature. For this to work, both you & your friend should have chat enabled (tools > options > chat) & should not see the firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue globe). There's more info in the link below.
