Same here, what gives? Am I missing something, because I'm not paying for this again...

Use the link from your e-mail to find the download site. You have 6 months of upgrades included in the original $6 price tag you paid.

Locks Up

I have been having a big problem with the pro version of limewire. It locks up on my system everytime I go to the tools bar in the program. I thought the pro version was suppose to be much better? I paid $6 for a program that locks up when I go to the tools bar. Please help me. I have installed it and then tried to un-install it. I have got a message about cydoor?

When do you receive a message about cydoor? During install, uninstall, normal usage?

Well when I reboot after the lock-up. When XP does the disk scan. It shows that. I am not sure what is up? It only locks when I go to click on tool bar in limewire pro. Let me go look at the upgrade and see if it helps. Do I need to un-install the whole program again or what. Help me out here.

This is very strange. I have never heard of this happening to anyone yet, and believe me - I've heard a lot. Well.... here are some more questions I'll ask to help figure this out:
Did LimeWire do this with any other previous version?
Exactly which version are you using right now?

Maybe Clean LimeWire will work for you?
Try the beta version...(the 2.1.1 version)
http://www.geocities.com/burk017/testprog.html
If you get the same error, then the bug is a result of a bad piece of code. If not, you might need to re-install JRE 1.3.1.

Did any of this help?
:-)

So far it has settled down and is stable now. I will have to see how it holds out. Not sure what was causing the problem of lock-up earlier. So far its holding its own.

I've heard several other reports of this from other users, so I think this is something that Lime Peers needs to take a close look at. It only seems to affect the Pro users.
