trouble with limewire (won't open)

Hi.

I am having trouble opening Limewire, when I click on the icon I get a box with which user account do u want to use with this program, I entered my user name and what I thought was my password but will not accept. I tried to uninstall from Change and Remove but the icons are still on my desktop and in the task bar and they will not open Limewire, I'm on xp and everything else is ok.
