I need help! How to transfer songs to portable player or WMP?

:bangh: All I want to do is listen to the songs that I have downloaded, on limewire, onto my MP3 player. But I dont know how! I have windows media player (who doesn't?), but how, and can, I transfer my downloaded songs from limewire library to media library! Or even more simple, download songs onto my mp3 from my limewire library!! Please help me figure
out this stressing problem. I have no clue about any of this.:shoot:

Generally WMP uses either of these libraries: 1. C:\Music ____ 2. C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Music

For fast & easy access, go to your LW Library window, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. Then copy & paste or drag & drop the songs to whichever Music library your WMP normally uses.

As for your mp3 player. Depends on brand and model. With some, you simply connect via USB, then it will mount on your desktop ... check computer directory if necessary to find it. Then copy & paste or drag & drop the music files across.

Some portable players require a go-between program to transfer the songs across.

In media player under under file tab click on add to library. there should bee some thing like search computer for media. Click on that. Designate where you want media player to search and that should be it. If you have WMP 11 then you have to click on advanced options after the Add to library tab. That will bring up a sys tree from which you can pick and choose what directories you want to scan. Now as far a if they are playable in Wmp that depends on the Codecs you have. As far as your MP3 play. What are you using a Ipod. I think you can go to the SYNC tab and if you Ipod is connected to you computer it should read it. If not try hitting the refresh tab under sync. If that dosent work Import all your music to I-tune (Which sucks sometimes because it likes to conver to that F'ed up media type only it can read) good luck let me know how you made out!
