Ive had LW before but Ive never had so many problems before. It wont play anything I download. Ive downloaded 2 videos, both for WMP and nothing happens when I press Launch. If Im in the processing of downloading it.. nothing happens when I press Preview. My WMP does work because I use it all the time to play videos and music. I have no clue whats going on. Please help!

could be the file is fake...could be that there is not enough of the file complete to preview it...try going directly to your saved folder and playing from there....

theres plenty file to preview, even when its at 50% nothing plays. do you mean going through the LW library to try and launch it? I did that and still get nothing. I can click it, the hourglass will come up for a quick blip and then I get nothing else. Do you think reinstalling the whole LW program would help?

no..go directly to where the folder for your saved file resides....go into it, and try to play the video directly from there...

it may be that you are overloading your machine with too many things at once, as the hourglass freezing is usually an indication that things are getting sluggish...

cant find them in any folder outside of LW. Ugh, I dont know whats going on with this thing. it says the file path for it is documents and settings/owner/shared. i went to that but the new things i dl's arent in there, only the old ones from the last time i had it.

if the files are not finished, the incompletes will reside in the incomplete folder which is in the same directory as the saved folder...

if the files are truly gone..well...that has happened before, but it is rare that a file disappears when its being transferred to the saved folder....perhaps it would be good to check your recycle bin just in case its there....shouldn't be, but one never knows...

I found them ^_^ had to click the Explore button in LW and it took me straight to the folder and they play from there. Thanks so much for your help!
