Songs Mess Up

It is 100% random, but when i try to play any given song at any given time the beginning of the song will turn really high pitched and scratchy and LW will freeze for a few seconds then play the song normally, any suggestions?

Are you using the LW player? It's not very good. Try disabling it (tools > options > player) & make something else your default player;)
