I think you have 2 seperate issues going on here...
Firstly you are recieving a Java error...

So try this...
Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

Also try deleting your preference folder/s...
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should

Then with your error report when trying to access your shared folder, that is, as what Birdy mentioned, probably a corrupted file, it wouldn't of been the one that was at 7% downloading as they do not enter your shared folder until completley finished...
So try going back to what you downloaded before this happened...

Well... I did uninstall my java 1.6. After doing that, I've downloaded & installed java runtime environm. 1.5 (offline version). But when you say download java 2 platform standard, do you mean the online or the offline version? Anyways, I've uninstalled my pro version of limewire into a basic one that is updated (4.14.8). Even though I have or don't have the incompleted movie(avi) file, I remember downloading a jpeg file that is not done, when it was almost finish... the problem occurred! Anymore ideas?

Is limewire opening up for you ??
If it is go to your incomplete folder in your limewire library and click on one of your incomplete files and click on explore, that will take you to your incomplete folder outside of limewire, see if you can delete the offending file...
The 1.5.11 is the JS2E (it was the link I gave you and yes the offline installer was the one)...

Also make sure you delete your preference folders... (link in last post)

Question Shared folder

My limewire "starts" while I clicked on the icon, but after it "loads", it doesn't do anything. Nothing freezes, nothing popped up, NOTHING! If I can open up my limewire and go to my shared folder, I won't be trying to access it outside of limewire or when limewire whilst closed. As I said, my shared folder can't open from the Local Disk (I can still get in my local drives and other removable drives). When I try to open it, it pops out the crash message: Windows Explorer Encountered A Problem & Needs To Close. We Are Sorry For the Inconvienence. And then my computer automatically restarts. Also when you say delete the limewire preference folder, which one is it? Is it the one in program files or the ".limewire" one? Does anyone knows the solution yet? Thanks for replying.

If you have both the .limewire and the LimeWire folders delete both...
Lotr has explained where to find these in this sticky...
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...ng-should.html

Hopefully this will get you into Limewire and have it stop freezing....
Otherwise if this does not work, try to remember what the file/s where that may of caused this to happen and enter the title of it/them into your computers search function and try deleting them that way...
