Default Does LimeWire give out emails? Someone added me saying he got my email from limewire

Someone named edited recently added me on MSN. He told me his name was Rodrigo and he was from Mexico, and he also added my friend! I asked him how he got my hotmail address, and he told me he got it from Limewire!

He told me that he got my email when looking up a song in Spanish? He said he thinks its because if there are words in the song that match words in your email, it gives you people's emails, or something like that?

I've used Limewire for quite awhile and never seen this... my friend who he added also uses Limewire

So, is this true? Can you get people's emails from limewire? Please help, I'm scared he may be a hacker of some sort!!

this guy is fekking with you...the only way an email address can get on the network is if it is in somebody's shares....now, maybe a 'friend' of yours had a part of his HDD up for shares that he didn't realize had a library of addresses or something....or maybe he is a 'friend' and is messing with you..the list of possibilities goes on and on....
