Getting LimeWire Pro from UK?
 

Hi

Maybe off-topic but I don't know where to put it.

I tried to purchase LimeWare Pro from the UK using the secure form supplied. It wouldn't allow my full postcode, only the first 4 characters, and not surprisingly my credit card was declines.

Fixes? Suggestions?

I am a UK Limewire user and have been so since 2004, however, a word of warning, never ever put your full name in an open world wide forum because there are a lot of creeps out there (as well as spammers, 419er, hackers, etc.) that you would not want contacting you.

OK, back to business, I used a credit card to initially buy and update my subscriptions with and never had any problems.

I don't know what link you tried before but click on this one and try again:

PS. Rather than buy LW Pro why not try LW Basic first, plus its free.

Can't change my user details and there's a definite bug in the https://www.limewire.com/sales/forms/buypro.php form if you select United Kingdom because my browser at least (Internet Explorer) won't allow you to enter more than 4 characters of the postal code and that won't get past the credit card control;

You are right, there is something wrong with the form, for some reason it cannot accept a UK postcode (and I now use Opera as my main browser).

I'll write to one of the moderators on your behalf and get back to you.
