 Limewire4.12.3 Pro locks up I've been using Limewire for years almost flawlessly except for one problem, if I click browse host on someone who shares more than 3,000 files it locks up about half way though. Only way out is to exit Limewire with task manager. No big deal except that it interrupts any downloads or uploads that might be going. I'm certain it's not my computer, tons of extra memory and other programs work fine while Limewire is frozen. Is this a known problem that hopefully has been addressed with the newer version?  |

| It could be a Java issue... Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version.... Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11 If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s... Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should LimeWire Pref Folder in Vista There is also the 4.14 version out now...
