| I am downloading a video and every time I go to check the preview to make sure it's what I want it comes up saying "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file." I've switched and tried using "realplayer" and the other media players in my system and it keeps coming up with the same answer. How do I figure out which media player will work and how do I go about getting this. I'm also not that computer educated so an abc approach would be appreciated. My computer is also DVD/video compatible so I don't understand this. ty |

| Might be that the files you've downloaded are fake. The network is full of them, but you can learn to avoid them and find good ones. Look up the files with Bitzi before downloading to help sort out the bad ones. See: Recognising Fake files And for tips on finding good files, see: How to find music.. Also did you try VLC Media Player?? And ALWAYS use BITZI to check for good Files. Hope this helps. |
