How Can I Get Rid Of This? Annoying!(invalid file message) A message keeps popping up on my screen and always when i log into my computer that reads: One or more necessary files appears to be invalid caused by a corrupted installation. Please try downloading and installing Limewire again. If the problem persists visit Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « & click the support link. Yesterday i deleted EVERYTHING on limewire that i had even those files that were 'Awaiting Sources' and 'Incomplete Files' and uninstalled Limewire (i'm starting over again if i decide to reinstall), however i keep getting this message popping up. How can i get rid of it? |
Make sure you uninstalled limewire correctlty... If you're doing it via Add/Remove programs then that can cause problems!! The correct way to uninstall is Start > All programs > Limewire/Uninstaller Use your computer's search to look for all files & folders with limewire in the name. If you can't delete them, reboot into safe mode & then try. If they still won't delete, try one of the tools here... Incomplete Download File won't delete at all. Now that Limewire is completely off you system you can now re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link... Lime Wire » Download LimeWire If your a Pro user just use your personal download page....;) |
