LW wont open
 

i need ur help lw was workin fine but now i click i get the hr glass then nothing... done this on desk top on start menue and porg files i renstaled but same thing plz help (its lw pro) newest

You are lucky. I was able to download but it is all in a foreign language. I would love for it to be in English. I have downloaded it about 10 times and getting very frustrated

So Tom, I am assuming you can't read or understand the language. Does Limewire open?? If it does and you just can't read the language then at the top there will be seven words in a bar. Click on the second one, and a drop down menu will appear. Now click on the very last item in the drop down menu and that will give you the chance to change the language.

This should have never been an issue, because during the download process it asks you what language you want Limewire in and you have to click next to advance so this is on you my friend.

Try Uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....

still having same prob

Hey all, I'm having a problem with my limewire opening. I've had/been using Limewire for about three years now . Problem started after I had to do a system restore. Downloaded the newest version a couple of weeks ago , download went without any problems . If I go to open it , it gives the usual prompts, until it gets to the firewall info page . It stalls there and wont do anything else. I've checked all my firewall setups and Limewire is recognised and remembered. Right now I'm clueless , I've uninstalled it three times and re down loaded it the same amount of times. It just simply stalls at the firewall info page and wont open. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. 3stixmo1960 , Sam
