sharing file
 

I am using the most up to date lime wire pro and I am trying to share the shared folder across my network and can't, I have to keep going back and changing setting in order to see all the files in there. All other file share well excepted the limewire shared folder. Using windows xp pro.

Not sure what you mean. Changing what setting?

I open the sharing tab and then click share and then the allow computers on the network to change the folder thats the setting I have to keep changing.

I think I know what you mean. Your shared folder is on one computer and your using it as the shared folder for all your computers that are running LW. So when you d/load something on any computer on your network the files all go to the same folder on the one computer.

If that's right, then what you need to do is start LW on the computer with the shared folder on it first before you start LW on any other computer. Then when you shut LW down, shut it down on the computer with your shared folder on it last.

When you shut down LW on the computer with the shared folder on it first, the other computers lose their connection to it and it's dropped from the library(same happens if you don't start it first), then you have to add it again.
