"Classfactory cannot supply requested class" Does anyone know what it means? My Windows Media Player won't play AVI files. Whenever I try to preview an AVI file as it downloads I get this message saying "Classfactory cannot supply requested class". So I always end up cancelling the download since it won't play. MPEG and MPG play fine. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thank you! :) |
It's a codec error. Means the codecs your player has can't understand the code of the video. Commonish error for WMP. lol :D We recommend using VLC - (click on link) _ (choose nearest mirror site) because it's usually reliable & has in-built codecs. If you prefer using WMP then see CODECs list and alternate players for Movies |
Thanks, LOTR! Will check out the links. :xeri_ok1ani: |
