Help Re-starting Limewire

I have a problem where my Limewire will only run after the first install, then if I close Limewire and try opening it again it simply won't. Nothing shows up at all, this never happened with the older versions of Limewire. I'm running it on Windows XP ver. 2 if that helps at all. The only way I can use Limewire is by uninstalling Limewire after each use then reinstalling when I want to use it again. This is also seems to happen with my I-Tunes as well, so I think the problem might be similar between the two programs. If anyone could help, that would be great! Thank you!
