Limewire will not load old downloads????

hey i was wondering if anyone can help???

i just started up limewire it was loading fine then a message came on the screen " ERROR unable to load old downloads" so my unfinished downloads are gone my library is still full etc but i have no downloads i cannot think what happened as i haven't pressed anything maybe my computer is being a jerk unsure of what to do so i thought i would ask one of you guys so no more damage is done oh when it first happened with the ERROR message i exited then tried again and still nothing so i reset the computer and still nothing

any help would be great
