Limewire Autostarts but WITH Task Manager

I tried to open a torrent file through a site to directly open with Limewire and my Norton detected it as a virus and deleted it. It ended up not being able to open the torrent file and ever since, my Limewire has been autostarting. The difference with my problem compared to all others that I've read is that I can open my task manager. Another thing is that if I uninstall and delete all Limewire folders, the pop-up does not appear but it appears when I have it installed. I checked for viruses and spyware and none were found like most said. I tried the BFU thing, but it always stops responding near the end when it says: trying h-something. Please help.

If I completely erased my computer and re-installed windows, would this problem go away? ...or no, since it may be a virus?
