my computer is having problems so i started deleting programs and i deleted lime wire to see if that made any difference and now this error message keeps poping up it says "one or more necessary files appear to be invalid this is generally caused by a corrupted installation please try downloading and installing limewire again and then it says if the problem continues to send this report thats in a box below it to bugs@limewire.com but my email wont let me send emails so is there another way i can get rid of this error message

I am having the same problem, only I installed LimeWire and it won't even work. I tried uninstalling and then re-installing it, but I still get that "One or more necessary files appear to be invalid" error message. I didn't send the report to bugs@limewire.com though because the error message didn't give me that e-mail address. Which version of LimeWire are you running? I'm running v4.18.3 on a Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 PC with 1 GB RAM and 500 GB disk space.

If you want me to send your report to bugs@limewire.com as well as mine I'll be glad to do that for you since your e-mail isn't working.

Never mind about the e-mail thing, the bugs@limewire.com e-mail address doesn't exist. I just got an error back after I tried to send a message to that address. I wonder if there's any other address I could use...?
