Okay I Fixed my Limewire On My Windows XP. For the past 6 Days, Every time I tried to open LW, Nothing would happen. I went to Add/Remove programs and deleted Java and all of the updates. I went to the Sun website and Downloaded the SE version 6 offline installer. I saved the program to my documents, double clicked on the Java Icon and installed version 6 without any updates. The LW Icon on my desktop worked when I clicked on it, but an error message popped up saying an error ocurred and to download LimeWire again. I popped in my LimeWire Pro disk and Downloaded it again. I had to go through the setup process again, but I just did a quick search on my hard drive to get all my files back into the LimeWire library. I hope you didn't get as frustrated as I did, and I hope maybe this was helpful.
