Skins Help Ok, so I want to change it into the metal skin that I found at the Skins Gallery. There's already an option in Limewire when I have it open, but all of the skins "does not exist or is corrupted" except the default one. At first I couldn't find the limewire folder in my username folder. But someone said to try the Application Data -> LimeWire. I found two themes there, I found the two .lwtp files and two folders with all the icons and stuff. So I right-clicked on the link at Skins gallery and saved it at the same folder. It still doesn't work. Do I need the folder containing all the icons, etc for that theme as well? If so, where do I find it? |
Download the zip file to your theme folder, C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Application Data\LimeWire\themes. You'll need to set your folder options to show hidden files and folders. Extract the zip file to a folder called "(skin name)_theme"(within the main theme folder). This folder will contain the icons and the other stuff. Then change the extension of the ".zip" file to ".lwtp" and leave it in the main theme folder. Open limewire and go to View>Apply Skins>(choose skin). |
Ok, thanks for the help. I got it to work now. =) |
