Default Can't delete a file.

Well i have this torrent file that i accidentally downloaded and it's in my download box or w/e you call it and it say's "Disk Problem". I've deleted it many of times by going into my incomplete folder and in the incomplete section on limewire, but it come's back when i reopen limewire. I've tried restarting my computer after deleting the file and reinstalling limewire but it never permanently deletes. Help would be appreciated, thanks.

I have no problem deleting it, but the problem is that it reappears when i open limewire and it's back in the download section. Could it be a virus?

I had this same problem, went through all the forums I could find, installed a few programs, and then found the answer on my own.

First, make sure you have deleted all the files you can find with the file name by using your Windows search function, then find the folder in the C/incomplete folder and delete it, and then, delete both the .dat and .bak files in the Incomplete folder.

When you start Limewire back up, the program will not load any of your old downloads, so if you want to resume any, just go to the Library and look in the incomplete folder.

But the evil file is gone!! woo hoo!

P.S. Limewire will make a new .dat and .bak file when you shut down the program, but it won't have the evil file in it.
