Search History... Hi, everyone... got a quick question, thought maybe you guys would know. Technically, this is regarding Frostwire, but since it's a port, I'm assuming the answer would be the same. I've searched the forums and found about half a thousand inquiries about clearing the search history (even though it isn't even necessary, as it isn't retained after exiting... *grin*) I have the opposite question... is there any way to SAVE the search history? The threads I've read so far indicate that the history isn't saved, even locally, so I was wondering... is there any place where the history of the current instance is stored temporarily? Perhaps some file containing a text listing of current searches that could be copied before exiting? Doesn't even matter what format the file itself is written as; so long as the text is present and readable, stripping out superfluous data is easy enough. Anyone know if such a file exists? Or are the searches stored only in memory, meaning I'm SOL unless I wanna copy and paste every string manually to and from notepad every time? Thanks in advance... *smile* |
Yea AFAIK you would be "SOL". I think the only files that might be saved are the incomplete files. |
