Limewire.exe - Corrupt File HELP!!!!!

I downloaded a movie and now i have this corrupt file (which is a backup file) that i cannot get rid of no matter what i try. neither the download file or backup with delete or be moved/changed.

The message that keeps popping up every 40 seconds is -

The file of directory C:\Documents and Settings\my music\itunes\incomplete\downloads.bas is corrupt and unreadable. please run the Chkdsk utility.

Well the Chkdsk utility did squat and i have uninstalled and reinstalled limewire several times which has also done squat and my computer is now VERY slow.
If ANYONE knows how to get this to go away please please please help as this is SO annoying.

Thanks

Take Birdy's advice here.

Download AVG Free AV. Update it & scan your computer. There's a link for download in the thread below.
tools/options

If AVG doesn't also help with LW constantly restarting, have a look through the thread below...there are a few fixes from different posters. If nothing helps, this thread has links to forums that offer specialised help with malware issues.
