Java2TM

Hey I have this problem. After everything that I went through, something had to happen again that prevented me from completing my installation. Here is the message, "LimeWire has detected that you do not have Java2TM Runtime Environment, standard edition v.1.3.1 installed on your system.
How do I get this on my system. When I got online so that the installation could take place it choked and installation failed.

How can I remedy this most recent problem?

If you have problems with the new JRE, then uninstall it and install the 1.3 JRE. I didn't even know there was a new JRE. JRE 1.3 works well with me though. This only gripe about using Java it uses to much ram just to run it. I think Limewire should stay away from Java, because other than that I have no problems downloading any songs. The only reason why they use Java is because its cross platform, meaning they can make one software that will work with any os, but you pay the price watching your ram get suck away. Actually I shouldn't blame Limewire but should put the blame on Sun to make a better Java that uses less ram. Limewire uses it for cost effective. Why make three or four different software to satisfy each os when you can make only one that will work with all of them.
