Lime Wire won't start up
 

I have down loaded and installed Lime Wire 2.1.3 without any error messages. When I double click on the icon on my desktop, nothing happens. I previoisly used 1.7 and upgraded to 2.1.3, when I upgraded I deleted 1.7. Then 2.1.3 did not work, so I reinstalled 1.7, that installed 1.7 over 2.1.3. I did not want 1.7, so I uninstalled both versions and deleted them to start fresh. I again downloaded 2.1.3 and installed it. It does not open when it is done installing, but the icon pops up on my desktop. Clicking on the icon does nothing, as I have explained at the beginning. What can I do to fix this problem?

had the same problem stared over and works ok i have to go through aol though and then open window to lime wire and it connects my aol server sucks though and bumps me off and have to open new window behind first one to restart it
