Options problem - please help!

This is my first post, so hello to all.
i'm having a problem with my limewire, unfortunately. i have it open and all appears well, but i wanted to change a setting of where my files go into the computer. when i went to open the options screen, it opens then quickly shuts. each time i try to go there, it does the same thing. i have uninstalled and reinstalled limewire a few times now, but it's still doing it. is anyone else having this problem, or does anyone know what to do?

There's a virus that prevents the options menu from being accessed in LW. Do a virus scan. If your av doesn't pick up anything, try d/loading AVG free (click on link) update it and do a scan, then follow the prompts.
