Have you tried FrostWire?

To be fair, I can not say that this program is better yet - it will take a little more time using it to find that out. But I do know for a fact that I've already used this program for a longer periode of time than Limewire - without any of the same problems as both you and I (and many more) have had with Limewire so far...

To be honest, I honestly don't know how Limewire can be so popular with these obvious Java problems. :rolleyes:

I will give it a go but I have paid for limewire pro so would like to get this going ... :(

I have also sent this on to tech support so will see what they have to say as well and post the results but if there are more ideas from the ones posted then let me know. I am prepared to try almost anything that people bring up bar formatting my computer back to scratch ... :)

OK now there is some sort of issue or something coz frostwire will not run either it is doing the same thing ?????????????????

Something must be blocking them but I cannot work out what ...
