all my songs have dissapered
 

i went to go in to limewire today.Insted of it loading up as normal i was asked to choose a language and a few other things,it looked a lot like i was installing it again,but i wasnt,it has already been installed.

when i had gone through the process of choosing the language and the file name it would go under, it opened up.And all the songs that had previously been downloaded had dissapered.

please help.

the previous night my mum didnt shut the laptop down correctly,she just pressed the power button until the computer turned of,could this have affected it in anyway?

When the new version came out i couldn't open lime wire without updating and the same thing happened, all my files were gone.

I don't know much about Limewire but I had a similar experience and found my music on my computer in the 'shared' folder. Hope this helps.

Mine just did the same thing, but the music isnt in shared folders. It is nowhere to be found. When you update limewire version, does it just delete all files from the old limewire?
