Not searching???

i open up my limewire & i go 2 search something & nothing will come up in the little results box. its able 2 connect & everything. it has the little green bars in the corner. my mom mentioned how she didnt want me using it earlier, & im worried she did something 2 it.

how do i fix this?.

Some time's i just want to throw my computer out the window

no, my limewire was working great up until a few days ago.
i kno how it works & evrything. it recognizes that its supposed 2 b searching 4 something. it has all the tabs & crap open, but no results.

I know this won't help you, but mine has been doing the exact same thing: I think there's a glitch in the network, and maybe we should try contacting tech support from limewire if we can...If I find anything out I'll be sure to let you know.

Did you try the license fix that Remoc gave you in your other thread?

Since your connection's ok, try these other fixes as well.
1. Problems with the search

2. Delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location).

This will change all of your settings within LW's options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things to the way you like them.
